Tags: Math functions and Extended Properties from Microsoft SQL

With tags you can add custom notations to you assets. Use rules to automate tagging, or just add manual notes to better describe what your assets are about. In the latest release of vScope we have added two more features to help you enrich the data in vScope.

Notice 👉 You need to have Admin or Contributor privileges to manage tags in vScope

Math functions to calculate tag values

You can now use math functions to create a resulting value from a math operations. This is a very powerful feature if you eg. want to create your own tag showing the number of available licenses (number of licenses – suspended licenses), number of users in two groups (Group A + Group B), or usage ratios (Used Size / Total Size).

Extended Properties from Microsoft SQL

Tags from Discovery allows you to customize what information to discover from various integrations. In the latest version of vScope, you can fetch Extended Properties added to your Microsoft SQL databases. Resusing existing notations will save you a lot of time and further enrich the data that you keep in vScope.
