Build tables with ease…
Finally, it’s here – a new, cleaner look of the beloved Tables in vScope.
Our focus has been on making the tool easier to use for new users exploring vScope, while keeping the powerful navigation and browsability of your IT environment.
The update includes:
- Improved column search, with results sorted by best match
- “Group by…” tabs moved to the top
- Moved “Create tag” into the menu
- Clearer visibility of the table owner and collections
- Highlighting when a table has unsaved changes
- Rows are now alternately colored instead of columns
- Repositioned buttons across the view for better accessibility
- Table description moved to a tooltip on the Info icon, making more room for your data
… and build filters more easily
We’ve introduced a completely new way of building and managing filters in your tables. It primarily helps beginners create filters more intuitively, but also enabling advanced users to build complex, nested filters with AND/OR operators.
To get started, simply click on Filters > Start building.
We’ve kept the popular original filter panel, now renamed Quick Filter.
You can use both together: start with Filters, then drill down further using Quick Filters.

Explore Microsoft 365 in vScope
New content helps you better navigate and document your Microsoft 365 environment.
This includes SharePoint and Teams statistics, overlapping license plans, and better insights for user and group administration.
To collect SharePoint Sites, administrators need to enable it in the credential, under Discovery > Credentials > Azure > Advanced. Also, you need to update the permissions for vScope's app registration, with Sites.Read.All and Teams.ReadBasic.All.

Better database management

This includes, for example, last user activity to identify unused databases, last backup size, and max supported compatibility level for better configuration management.
This content requires the Database Module. You’ll find it in your Library under the Database collection.

- Active Directory Users with Locked-Out Accounts – simplify troubleshooting by finding accounts that may need unlocking or removal (works great as a Tracker alert)
