Tracker evolves: from case list to compliance overview
From a list of issues to a clear compliance overview. The latest Tracker update introduces a more structured way to monitor, prioritize, and improve your IT environment. Here's the latest update about vScope Tracker!
Built for better visibility and compliance
Tracker has long helped vScope users detect issues in their IT environment by identifying deviations from best practices and configuration standards.
With this update, Tracker takes a significant step forward.
Instead of being a long list of technical checks, Tracker is now a compliance and auditing overview for your IT environment – designed to help you understand where you stand and what to act on next.
The goal is simple:
- Give you a clear picture of how your IT environment is performing
- Help you prioritize the right actions
Here are some of the key improvements in the latest vScope update:
A clearer view of your compliance status
One of the most visible additions is the new Compliance Score – a clear indicator of how well your IT environment aligns with defined controls and policies.
Instead of manually reviewing individual checks, you can now instantly understand the overall status of your infrastructure.

Collections group what matters
Tracker now organizes cases into collections – structured groups of related controls.
This makes it easier to analyze your environment from different perspectives, such as security, compliance, or operations, instead of navigating a long list of individual checks.

Improved impact classification
Each case now includes a clearer impact level, helping you understand how serious a deviation may be.
This makes it easier to prioritize your work and focus on the issues that have the greatest impact on operations, security, and compliance.
A personal Watchlist
With Watchlist, you can create a personal list of the cases that matter most to you.
This allows you to stay focused and act quickly when something changes, with notifications configured per case and delivered directly to your inbox.

Track progress over time
Compliance is not a one-time task – it is a continuous process.
With history and trend data, you can follow how your environment evolves over time and clearly see how compliance improves as issues are resolved.
Faster insights with preview
To improve navigation, Tracker now includes a preview feature.
Before opening a case, you can quickly see what it contains and how many assets are affected – helping you decide where to focus your attention.

A redesigned case details view
The new case details page provides a clearer overview of affected assets.
It also includes an improved filter builder, making it easier to configure and tailor cases to your specific needs.
Built for continuous compliance
With these improvements, Tracker evolves from a simple list of issues into a tool for continuous compliance and auditing.
You don’t just see what’s wrong – you understand how your environment is performing, what matters most, and how your progress develops over time.
